Portraits in Colored Pencil II: These 3 days are being offered to those who’ve previously taken a portrait workshop from me, so we can go beyond the basics. Take this opportunity to work on your own piece with hands-on, step-by-step guidance on your own colored pencil portrait. Since this is a small class, you're welcome to come even if you haven't taken Part I. It will be helpful, though, if you are quite familiar with my first book, Colored Pencil Portraits Step by Step. $265 

Supply List

Sharpened Prismacolor pencils (bring as many as you have - at least a 48 set)

Drafting brush (desk brush or large paint brush)

One 8 x 10 sheet tracing paper or mylar film

One portrait photo reference, enlarged to 8 x 10 or 11 x 14

A line drawing (in graphite) of the photo reference on the smooth side of Stonehenge paper. The line drawing should be no smaller than 10 x 12 and no larger than 16 x 20 (If you prefer, you can bring a line drawing on mylar film and transfer the drawing onto Stonehenge in class) I would love to see your reference photo before class.  Simply email me the image(s) a couple of weeks before class.  Thank you!
